Did you wake up hard this morning? Neither did I but most days that’s not the case anymore. I went through a few years of rarely having morning wood and I ignored that not knowing it was such a great indicator that my testosterone levels had dropped.
Remember when you were young and couldn’t get out of bed because you were hard and it wouldn’t go down? Having to cover up to walk to the toilet to pee so hopefully that wood would soften? Those were the days. The days of trying to keep your erection down in class, while at a party, or kissing a girl. You thought your erection was a problem and now you wish it felt that easy again.
Nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT) is your body’s way of providing healthy blood flow to your penis. Night wood and morning wood should be occurring because that’s what your body is designed to do. Once you begin figuring out what your body needs, you’ll be back to waking up hard in the night and early morning, having sexually oriented dreams, and having morning sex with your wife.
NPT is a great indicator of my sexual health and I document my status every day in my health log.
