Beer

My drive was amazing for 10 days straight.  I felt on top of the world.  Then I broke a rule and it all changed.  I was at a social event and was offered a drink.  This drink was a Bells Winter White Ale.  I knew better but I had never tasted it and I wanted to see if my super high sex drive would survive.  The beer tasted good but it immediately killed my sex drive.  Later my wife was playful and I wasn’t feeling it anymore.  The following morning, no wood, no drive, playful wife, and I was wrecked.  Heavy craft beers are poison for your testosterone levels.  It’s like drinking liquid estrogen.  The grains and especially the hops contain a large amount of phytoestrogens…plant based estrogens…and they wreak havoc on your hormonal balance.  Have you ever seen a drunk guy open up and cry about something or say the ubiquitous quote,  “I love you man”?  That’s the estrogen talking.  That’s the emotional response to the hormonal imbalance that’s taking place within his system.

When you are young, you can get drunk and still have drunk sex.  Your T levels are high enough that the poor choice of beverage consumption still can’t keep your wood down.  Drunk sex usually means blunted sensitivity, difficulty finishing, and possibly even losing your erection during the event…but it’s still something you can get away with.  Once you age and your testosterone must be earned, you will need to make better choices if you want that night to end with a bang.

I can get away with drinking a (one) Coors Light or a Rolling Rock, but that’s about it as far as beer goes.  Pretty much everything else I’ve tried lowers my sex drive and drinks like Blue Moon, Oberon, Blood Orange Honey, Winter White Ale, Solid Gold all KILL MY DRIVE IMMEDIATELY even when my drive is strong…POOF…GONE!

It usually takes me at least 48 hours to recover from this type of event.  It’s a sad time and usually I miss out on some wifely opportunities because of it.
