I was 46 years old when I realized I had a low testosterone issue. My sex drive had fluctuated up and down for several years and I didn’t think anything of it. I knew I had become less driven. I knew my armpit odor had decreased. I knew I didn’t get as worked up in stressful situations or other upsetting issues. It wasn’t until I had difficulty sexually that I woke up to what was happening and decided to take action.
I went to the doctor and we did a testosterone test. 255…that was my number. The doc said it was still inside of what they considered normal range but on the low end with their low being 160. My research on the web had 255 falling outside of a normal range so that was the first bit of conflicting information that I would encounter. Little did I know that I would confront and work through LOTS of bad information from various websites. To put it bluntly, as I often will on this site, most of the vitamins, herbs, and other supplements that I tried had the OPPOSITE EFFECT on my sex drive than what they were supposed to deliver. To keep things simple, I’ll refer to all of these as supplements within this site.

What many see as a hopeless situation, I believe is fixable. In fact, just one year after my visit to the doctor, my wife and I had sex 34 times in one month – we had more alone time with kids being gone most of the time. I have experimented with every known substance that I can find that supposedly increases testosterone production or boosts sex drive. Some results have been good, and some not so good. What I’m giving you is my personal experience…a real perspective from one man. We are not all the same. We are all different chemically. So with that said, my experience will likely differ from yours. However, I do believe that I have come up with a system that will give you a path to follow to determine through process of elimination the food, drink, exercise, rest, and supplement strategy that best works for your body.
